Hobe Sound invited to spend a ‘Tuesday with Martin Volunteers’

Martin Volunteers is hosting a special edition of its “Tuesdays with Martin Volunteers” gatherings at the Hobe Sound Library, 2 p.m. April 10.

The meeting is free and open to anyone who wants to learn about volunteer opportunities throughout Martin County. Scores of opportunities are available, and Martin Volunteers representatives can help people find exciting volunteer activities that fit their schedules and interests.

Martin Volunteers also will be holding it usual “Tuesdays” meeting -- at 10 a.m. at the United Way of Martin County offices at 50 Kindred St., Suite 207, Stuart.

Martin Volunteers, a program of United Way of Martin County, conducts several major projects -- such as the White Doves Holiday Project, the Executive Service Corps of the Treasure Coast and the School Supplies for Students Drive -- but its main focus is connecting people with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
