“We really appreciate the help
from Faith Way Group and we welcome such help from
more groups as it not only benefits the agency, but
it also is a nice way for group members to give back
to the community,” said Krista Kugaraj, volunteer
coordinator for Council on Aging.
Martin Volunteers, a United Way
of Martin County program, is the gateway for
community involvement and the first place
individuals, businesses and service groups should
visit to learn how they too can become involved in
Martin County.
“Additional groups and projects
are in the planning stages as a result of the
contacts made during Corporate Volunteer Month,”
said Dianne Young, associate director of Martin
Volunteers. “We are thrilled that local businesses
are stepping up to help the nonprofit world through
direct service and welcome continued involvement.”
