Directors of Volunteers
in Agencies (DOVIA)
Martin Volunteers (formerly known as the
Volunteer & Community Resource Center) is the lead agency for DOVIA of the
Treasure Coast, a professional membership organization of
coordinators of volunteers.
DOVIA aims to promote professionalism in the field of
volunteer management, serve as an advocate for issues concerning volunteerism,
and provide networking and educational training opportunities for the
membership. Whether you are in a paid or unpaid position as
a coordinator of volunteers, you can benefit from participation in DOVIA.
DOVIA MEETINGS DOVIA meetings are held at The Place at
Stuart, 860 Central Parkway. Meeting times are noon to 1:30 p.m. on the third
Tuesday of every other month.
