Examples of Consulting Assignments
SOCIAL SERVICE NONPROFIT – Finalized a complete organizational review and
assessment with recommendations and action plans for board development, board
governance, definition of the executive director’s role, revision of bylaws,
volunteer management and fundraising.
ENVIRONMENTAL NONPROFIT – Developed, conducted, tabulated and interpreted
a climate survey for a volunteer population of 350. The results were used by
the management team to initiate improvements in communication, cross-training
and recognition.
CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING – Three-hour customer service training program
was delivered by an ESC consultant to a Treasure Coast nonprofit organization.
PUBLIC GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT – Working with key management team,
consultant led the group in a consensus building meeting to develop strategic
priorities for the next fiscal year.
VARIOUS NONPROFITS – Participated in an organizational assessment in the
areas of finance, human resources and board governance. Provided
recommendations for improvements.
PUBLIC GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT – Developed, conducted, tabulated and
interpreted a climate survey for the department to determine the group’s
satisfaction with current management, career development opportunities,
communication and general job satisfaction.
SOCIAL SERVICE NONPROFIT – Consultant served on the search committee that
successfully hired an executive director.
NONPROFIT AGENCY SERVING AREA YOUTH – Consultant worked with key
management team to develop job descriptions, personnel manual, staffing
requirements and organizational reporting relationships.
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT TRAINING – One and a half hour training program was
delivered by an ESC consultant to a group of volunteer managers on the topic of
managing difficult volunteers.
NONPROFIT AGENCY SERVING AREA YOUTH – Undertaking a complete
organizational assessment and review. Providing guidance in the initiation of a
major fundraising campaign.
