Martin Volunteers
held the drawing for its 16th annual
“Good Times” fund-raiser recently,
partnering with Stuart Fine Foods to
give away $2,600 in free groceries.
The drawing was
held March 15, 2007, at Carrabba's
Italian Grill, sponsor of the RSVP
recognition luncheons.
The ticket sales
this year amounted to more than $5,500.
Proceeds go toward volunteer services
provided by Martin Volunteers, a program
of United Way of Martin County.
Joe Mazzocchi Sr.
at Stuart Fine Foods graciously donates
the prizes each year, and enthusiastic
volunteers sell the tickets, which are
just $2 each or 3 for $5.
The winners drawn
on March 15, 2007, were as follows:
-
First prize --
Hermine Brown, $1,300 in groceries.
-
Second prize
-- Kim Taylor, $750 in groceries.
-
Third prize --
Angie Leone, $550 in groceries.
