Martin Volunteers is hosting a
special gathering in Hobe Sound to help people who are
looking for a volunteer role that fits their interests
and schedule.
The Martin Volunteers informational
meeting will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at the
Hobe Sound Community Center, 8980 Olympus St., Hobe
Sound (located east of US 1 behind the fire station).
The mission of Martin Volunteers is
to engage people of all ages and background in volunteer
service that enriches the individual and strengthens the
community.
Martin Volunteers has volunteer
opportunities available at dozens of agencies that range
from executive-level consulting to hands-on
construction, from animals to the arts, education to the
environment, and so much more.

Nov. 12 session may call

to schedule an appointment to learn about
the volunteer opportunities in Hobe Sound and throughout
Martin County.
Martin
Volunteers also hosts “Tuesdays with Martin Volunteers”
at 10 a.m. each Tuesday at the United Way of Martin
County offices at 50 Kindred St., Suite 207, Stuart.
The
public is invited to these information gatherings to
learn about volunteer opportunities throughout Martin
County.
