Martin Volunteers
has opened a Hobe Sound location to
expand its efforts in helping people
find volunteer activities.
Thanks to an
arrangement with the Property
Appraiser’s Office at 11726 SE Federal
Hwy., a representative of Martin
Volunteers will be at the office from 1
p.m. to 4 p.m. each Wednesday from April
2 through June 25.
People who are
interested in volunteering can come and
learn about the wide array of volunteer
opportunities available in Hobe Sound
and throughout Martin County.
Martin Volunteers
has access to volunteer opportunities
available at dozens of agencies that
range from education to the environment,
executive-level consulting to hands-on
construction, from animals to the arts,
and so much more. The Martin Volunteers
representative will be able to connect
people with agencies and opportunities
that best fit their interests and
schedules.
Martin Volunteers
is a program of United Way of Martin
County, and its mission is to engage
people of all ages and backgrounds in
volunteer service that enriches the
individual and strengthens the
community.
